21st China-ASEAN Expo: Myanmar delegation leaves for China

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn departed for China on Saturday.

The delegation will attend 21st China-ASEAN Expo 2024 (CAEXPO) held from September 24 to 28 in Nanning City, Guangxi Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. They were seen off by the ministry officials, along with the Chinese Economic and Commercial Attaché' at the Yangon International Airport.

The expo aimed for fostering friendship, development, and trade benefits, promoting the advancement of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 and the region's high-quality development. Throughout the expo, Myanmar will showcase 84 booths, featuring a wide array of sectors including rice, Arabica coffee, marine products, fruits, tea, spices, woodworking, handicrafts and gems.
