20th ACD Meeting: Myanmar delegation led by Dy Governor of CBM attended

The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Dr. Lin Aung and high-level officials attended the Meeting-ACD and First, the 20th ASEAN Central Bank Deputies Meeting-ACDM was held and Deputy governor of the Central Bank of Lao PDR gave an opening remark and clarified key notes regarding with process of financial cooperation and requirement to fulfill MSMEs financially.

Next, the president of ASEAN High Level Committee clarified the Capital Account Liberalization- CAL, ASEAN Banking Integration Framework- ABIF, Financial Inclusion – FINC, Payment and Settlement System-PSS, Financial Services Liberalization – FSL, ASEAN Swap Arrangement-ASA and ASEAN Cybersecurity Resilience and Information Sharing Platform-CRISP and Deputy governors of the Central Banks gave necessary instructions.

After giving a speech of conclusion by the Deputy governor of the Central Bank of Lao PDR, the meeting was concluded.

In the afternoon, the ASEAN Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting-AFCDM was continued and the joint-presidents of FCDM gave the opening remark.

Next, the monitoring and evaluation work process of ASEAN Economic Cooperation-AEC, status of progress of AEC Blueprint 2025, ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and 2024 ASEAN Financial Integration Monitoring Report-AFIMR were submitted.

Consequently, the joint-presidents of relevant work committees clarified the latest development of Senior Level Committee-SLC on ASEAN Financial Integration and the work process for 2024-2025 fiscal year and the Deputy governors of the Central Banks gave necessary instructions.

After that, the finalized discussion on the draft joint-statement and agenda to be submitted to the 11th AFMGM was made and approved and the joint-presidents gave the speech of conclusion.
