The 2026 Dakar Rally started on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, featuring an 8,000km route with marathon stages and new mid-stage service points, testing endurance, navigation, and resilience through January 17.
Among the elite participants were reigning bike champion Daniel Sanders, with 564 competitors from 49 nations contesting one of motorsport’s toughest events.
