






The 2025 Under-18 Men’s National Football Tournament, organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in collaboration with regional governments and the Myanmar Football Federation, officially began on Friday across four zones of Kayin State, Shan State, Bago Region, and Ayeyawady Region.
Thousands of football fans attended the opening matches, which took place at various stadiums. In the opening day, Kayin State defeated Mon State 3-0, Kachin State and Magway Region drew 2-2, Bago Region and Chin State ended in a 0-0 draw and Ayeyawady Region beat Rakhine State 9-0.
The tournament will run from July 11 to 18, with the group stage held in the four zones and the final rounds to be hosted in Yangon. Upcoming matches on July 12 at 3 PM include Sagaing vs. Tanintharyi at Zwegabin Sports Ground in Pa-An of Kayin State, Kayah vs. Mandalay at Bago Sports Complex in Bago Region and Yangon vs. Nay Pyi Taw (Union Territory) at Koe Thein Sports Ground in Pathein of Ayeyawady Region. Football enthusiasts are welcome to enjoy the matches for free entrance.
