2025’s Ok Om Bok festival kicks off

The Ok Om Bok festival, a traditional heritage from the Khmer people in Viet Nam’s south got underway in Can Tho City. The festival both celebrates and preserves the rich cultural heritage of the Khmer community.

A highlight from opening night was the performance themed ” Moonlit River, Shining Heritage,” which illustrated the depth of the Khmer people’s culture, beliefs, and spiritual values. It was also an expression of the joy and pride of ethnic communities who populate Can Tho.
