2024 Viet Nam National Cai Luong Festival Opens in Can Tho

The “2024 National Cải Lương Festival” officially opened in Can Tho City on Friday night. The event brings together talented Cải Lương artists from across Viet Nam to celebrate their deep love for this traditional performance art. Cải Lương, or Vietnamese reformed theater, is a form of modern folk opera.

This year, the festival has attracted over 1,000 artists and performers from 29 professional Cải Lương troupes, including both public and private groups nationwide. The 2024 National Cải Lương Festival will run until November 15.
