2 police officers killed in Moscow explosion

Russian investigative authorities said two police officers and a "suspicious individual" were killed in an explosion in Moscow. Russia's Investigative Committee, which handles serious crimes, said the police officers noticed a suspicious person near a police car in the early hours of Wednesday.

It said when the officers approached him to detain him, an explosion took place. Investigative authorities are interviewing witnesses and examining security camera footage.
