19th Asian Games: Myanmar rowing athletes won bronze medal

The 19th Asian Games is being held in Hangzhou, China starting from 23rd September to 8th October. Myanmar athletes have been participating in 7 kinds of sports events in the Games. On Friday, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Myo Hlaing gave words of encouragement to rowing athletes for the men/women 1,000-m Dragon Boat Race at the Wenzhou Dragon Boat Center.

At the men 1,000-m Dragon Boat Race, Myanmar team grabbed bronze medal as the Indonesian team won gold and the Chinese team ended with silver. At the women 1,000-m Dragon Boat Race, Myanmar team ranked 6 while the Chinese team won gold medal, Indonesian team silver medal and South Korean team bronze medal. So far, Myanmar athletes have grabbed 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals for the country at the 19th Asian Games.
