19th Asian Games: Myanmar Athletes will compete in various sports

The 19th Asian Games are scheduled to be held from 23rd September to 8th October 2023 in Hangzhou, China. It will have a total of 40 sports in the games and all 45 Olympic committees from Asian countries and regions have registered to participate in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.

44 venues will be used for the Games, including 30 existing facilities and 14 newly constructed venues. The opening ceremony will be held on 23rd September in Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center. 175 Myanmar athletes will compete in sports of archery, e-sport, men and women’s football, rowing, Sepaktakraw, Taekwondo and Wuhu.

The 18th Asian Games was held in Jakata and Palemban, Indonesia and the 20th Asian Games will be scheduled for Aichi-Nagoya, Japan in 2026 and Japan will host the event for the third time.
