191 Report Application : To request timely assistance to the MFSD

The fire brigade provides the frontline rescue services in protecting the lives and property of the people. Since 4th of January this year, the 191 Report App has been introduced to the public to request emergency assistance from the Myanmar Fire Services Department (MFSD) in case of a fire outbreak or sudden disasters or accidents.

This is one of the mobile applications and it aims at in order to be able to send information to the Fire Department in real time using modern ICT technology to ask for help regarding the disaster risks that the people are facing on a daily basis. MFSD is watching 24 hours to accept the request and information from the mobile application.

Depending on the contact of the phone numbers, the nearest fire department will provide assistance. In order to do this, command and control centers have been built at the Offices of Fire Services Department of Kachin, Kayin and Shan states, Sagaing, Bago, Magway, Mandalay and Ayeyarwaddy Regions and are connected with the fire headquarter.

In addition, other fire department offices in the regions and states will also be expanded and built the command and control centers.
