17th Plenary Meeting: Eighth 47-member State Sanga Maha Nayaka Committee

The first day session of 17th Plenary Meeting of Eighth 47-member State Sanga Maha Nayaka Committee was held at Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill on Friday. The meeting commenced after reciting Saraniya Ovada Gatha by the Chairman Sayadaw of State Sanga Maha Nayaka Committee.

Then, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin supplicated religious affairs. The meeting then followed with the summary report of 5th obligation period of the first sub-committee of 8th State Sanga Maha Nayaka Committee and implementations of Vinicchaya affairs, religious matters, education activities, regarding with the report.
