15th Relief flight: Myanmar people who stranded in Japan brought back home

Myanmar embassy in Tokyo arranged the 15th relief flight for Myanmar citizens and their families who were stranded in Japan because of COVID-19 pandemic in coordination with relevant ministries in Myanmar.

This relief flight left from Tokyo to Yangon via Narita International Airport on Thursday afternoon. The flight carried those who paid a visit to Japan with short term visa, those who can’t leave for Myanmar on time, scholars, those cut off jobs, those who completed the course and seamen who were stranded in the ports of Japan, altogether 157.

Moreover, a total of 20 Japanese experts and skilled staffs who are undertaking the tasks in cooperation with the Ministries in Myanmar came along with them.
Embassy staffs from Myanmar Embassy and the staffs from All Nippon Airways and Immigration provided necessary assistance to the returnees.
