14 people killed in landslides and floods in 24 hours across Nepal

At least 14 people have died and 16 people have been injured across the country due to monsoon invoked natural disasters in Nepal since Tuesday morning, official said on Thursday. The authority said a total of 44 incidents of natural disaster occurred in the past 24 hours across the country.

The Weather Forecasting Division has appealed to avoid possible damage such as floods, landslides and soil erosion. Bagmati, Koshi and Gandaki regions have received heavy rainfall due to the influence of monsoon winds. The department has predicted heavy rains in the eastern part of the country for three more days.
