12th ASEAN Para Games 2023 : Myanmar won 7 golds, 14 silvers, 9 bronzes as of June 7

Cambodia is hosting 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023 from 3rd to 9th June in Phnom Penh. In the athletics event in Morodok Techonational Stadium Complex on 6th June, Myanmar athlete Aung Tun Lin won gold medal and Tin Nyo won silver medal in Men’s discus T63 race.

Maung Lin won silver in Men’s400-m discus T64 race and Wai Wai Thin won silver medal in Women’s 200-m discus (T44) event. In Javelin event, Myanmar won 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.On the same day of weightlifting event in National Paralympic Committee Hall, Myanmar also grabbed 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in Men Total Lift 72 kilo and Men Best Lift events.

In awarding ceremony, Chairman of Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation  Maj-Gen Hla Moe and officials presented awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners. Then, Chairman of Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation and party viewed competing of men sitting volleyball of team Myanmar and Thailand in the Morodok Techonational Stadium Elephant Hall 1.

At the event, Myanmar para athletes won 1 gold, 5 silvers and 4 bronze medals in blind chess, swimming, volleyball, goal ball, weightlifting, football, table tennis, and track and field events on that day. In the 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023, Myanmar won 7 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze medals, totaling 30as of 7th June.
