1 dead, 2 missing in ice cave collapse in Iceland

An ice cave in Iceland collapsed while a tourist group was visiting, leaving one person dead, one seriously injured, and two others missing, police said on Monday. The incident occurred while a group of 25 people were touring the Breidamerkurjokull glacier along with a guide. It located in the south-east of the country and one of the Iceland's popular tourist destinations.

Police said that rescue teams are working to save the tourists using manual labour as it is very difficult to get suitable equipment to the site. Two coast guard helicopters have been dispatched to the scene, as well as ambulances. Officials said conditions at the scene the rescue were extremely difficult.
