“Mission Mangal”: Chief Minister attends commemorative film screening

Under the management of the Consulate General of India in Mandalay, the ceremony of screening India’s Film “Mission Mangal” was held at the Mandalay Convention Center in Chan Mya Tharzi Township on 24th August with the attendance of Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and other concerned officials.

Consulate General of India Mr. Sundeep Kaushal extended greetings at the ceremony to commemorate the successful landing of India’s Chadrayaan-3 spacecraft to the moon surface. The India lunar probe successfully landed the moon surface in the evening of 6:04 pm (India Standard Time) on 23rd August, and India has become the fourth country in the world for such a mission.

He also added that the film which was screening is created about that India’s spacecraft which could successfully landed on Mars for the first time and about the efforts of scientists. And, the Chief Minister expressed words of congratulations and watched the film together with many other concerned officials.
