SWEET BANANA WITH COCONUT MILK

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 branches of ripe Rakhine bananas
  • 6 oz sugar
  • 1 tin coconut milk
  • some soap acacia leaves
  • 3 ¼ cups warm water
  • ½ teaspoon salt

PREPARATION

 Peel the bananas and boil them together with soap acacia leaves to remove the astringent taste. Then, turn over the bananas to cook evenly for 15 minutes. When the bananas soften, put them into another pot and add salt, sugar and coconut milk. Then, sprinkle a spoonful of black sesame seeds. Cook till half of the coconut milk is evaporated. Put “Sweet banana with coconut milk” in a small bowl and sprinkle grated coconut over it for serving.
