SIMA ASEAN: Exhibition Of Agricultural Tech And Equipments

SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2017 was held in Bangkok, Thailand, showcasing the latest innovative and agricultural technologies and equipments regarding with the regional crops.

This is the 3rd edition of International Agricultural Business Exhibition & Conferences which featuring the latest innovation in the agriculture machinery and equipment sector.

Over 1,000 agricultural equipments were displayed by over 300 exhibitors at the event.

Communication Manager, SIMA, Guillaume Cointereau said “There are a lot of exhibitors from Taiwan, Vietnam and ASEAN area. So the facts they are here to show that they can explore the materials that contribute to good business for them. And also there are exhibitors from Europe who are building materials that we cannot found in ASEAN.So it's a good way for farmers here to find dedicated materials to improve their farms.”

Business matching was included in the event aiming to get business link among the countries.

Myanmar Corn farmers association participated in the event aiming to find the way to tackle the challenges of farmers.

Director, Myanmar Corn Farmers’ association (EU office), Tun Aung said “Myanmar farmers are suffering high cost of cultivation. So we need to find out the way to reduce the cultivation cost and get income from farm waste. We got some agreement with business from Thailand which can held in tackling the difficulties of the farmers.”

Over 1,000 agricultural equipments were displayed by over 300 exhibitors at the event.

SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2017 took place for 3 days from 7th to 9th September.
