Relief Assistance To Rakhine: Cash, Rice Provided In Maungtaw District

Relief assistance was provided to the family members of security forces and the locals killed in ARSA extremist terrorists’ attacks on Tuesday.

National Parliament Deputy Speaker U Aye Thar Aung together with Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu and State Minister for Social Affairs met with departmental officials and the family members of the locals killed in the terrorist attacks. Cash assistance was provided in the meeting at Maungtaw District General Administration Office.

At Kyikanpyin No.1 Border Police command headquarters in Maungtaw Township, the Deputy Speaker and party also provided cash assistance for the family members of 2 security forces members killed in ARSA extremist terrorists’ attacks and a member missing. Also, security forces and Tatmadaw personnel were provided 2 million kyats each.

The Deputy Speaker and party also visited the ethnic villages of northern Maungtaw Region and provided rice for the locals who remain there in the terrorist attacks.
