National Parliament: Raised Seized Land & Game Shops

11 August 2017

The National Parliament held its regular meeting focusing on seized land and game shops. Members of  the Parliament raised the return of seized farmland and pasture land to local people in Shan TeGyi ward of south Dagon Myothit, conservation of ancient cultural heritage in Taungoo, and safety standard for the distribution of compressed natural gas.

Members of the Parliament also held discussions relating the proposal on closing the game shops in big cities and amusement centers with the license of Yangon City Development Committee. The public is so concerned with such gambling shops as they are weakening the moral character of students and youths.
