Japan's Abe meets U.S. Pacific Commander, calls for close coordination

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe welcomes the commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, Admiral Harry Harris today. Abe expressed a desire for further coordination between the U.S. and Japan. Harris also mentioned a joint military exercise in the Sea of Japan as an example of the two nation's alliance. Japan and the U.S. had been conducting military drills in waters close to the Korean peninsula recently.
