Efforts For Rakhine State: Myanmar National Human Rights Commission Holds Seminar

A seminar on Rakhine State affairs on Wednesday in Yangon focused on challenges and solutions.

Myanmar National Human Rights Commission held the seminar attended by members of Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies, and Rakhine culture and Literature association, an international affairs researcher and many others. They discussed on the challenges and current situation of Rakhine State as well as impacts of international communities.

Chairman, Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, Win Mra said “Today, we met; discussed the challenges; and looked for solutions for Rakhine State issue. The invited guests spoke out their views on the terrorist attacks. We will collect recommendations from them as well. We will submit the outcome of the seminar to the state level. This is all about helping to tackle Rakhine State issue.”

Myanmar National Human Rights Commission will send the outcome of the seminar to the President Office.
